Mikko Autti - Office Manager
Mikko Autti works as the Office Manager of CMI's Helsinki office. His main duties concern administration, communications and organizational development of CMI. Mikko also advises the Executive Director and supports programmatic work especially in the field of crisis management. He is the Secretary of CMI's Board and assistant of the International Advisory Board.
Guy Banim - Project Coordinator
Guy Banim is a part time Project Coordinator in CMI’s African Union Mediation Support Capacity Project. He is based in Addis Ababa and Brussels. He is in charge of project formulation in preparation for the joint African Union/ACCORD/CMI project supported by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Alemayehu Behabtu - Project Manager
Alemayehu Behabtu is the AU Project Manager for Mediation Capacity Support Program, based in Addis Ababa.

Ville Brummer - Adviser
Ville Brummer has specialized in participatory foresight and decision support methodologies and he works as Project Officer in the Europe’s evolving security: drivers, trends and scenarios-project (FORESEC). His research interests include methodological aspects of futures studies on security research and in FORESEC project; he is responsible of supporting the design and implementation of participatory activities.

Roxana Cristescu - Programme Officer
Roxana Cristescu joined CMI in May 2009, working with the Peace Mediation Cluster. Previously, Roxana worked for various development, peacebuilding and mediation projects in Ethiopia, Sudan, Kosovo (Mitrovica Region), Moldova, Transdniestria, Ukraine and Lebanon.

Marina Danoyan - Programme Assistant
Marina joined CMI in June 2009. She is assisting and supporting CMI’s programmes coordination.
Marina has worked for four years at the European Commission Delegation to Armenia as Assistant to the Ambassador, Head of Delegation. She also has previous experience in transport and logistics at Danzas-DHL, France.

Antje Herrberg - Director & Senior Mediation Advisor
Antje Herrberg is the Senior Mediation Advisor of CMI. This work also includes the coordination of the mediation cluster of the Initiative for Peacebuilding and the overall direction of work of CMI in the Black Sea Region. Her interest and goal of her research and practical work is to enhance and develop professional practice of international peace mediation, with a special interest for the EU in this field.
Nina Hokkanen - Finance Manager
Nina Hokkanen works as the Finance Manager of CMI. She leads CMI's financial planning and provides expert guidance for the work done in the organization's many projects.

Heidi Huuhtanen - Adviser
Heidi Huuhtanen is an Advisor at the Martti Ahtisaari Rapid Reaction Facility. She is specialized on Middle East Politics and inter-linkages between security and democracy. At CMI she guides the overall work of CMI in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Kirsi Joenpolvi - Deputy Director
Kirsi Joenpolvi is CMI’s Deputy Programme Director specialised on post-war statebuilding. Ms. Joenpolvi is a Governance and Statebuilding expert with extensive experience in policy analysis and strategy development both in Asia and in Africa. Ms. Joenpolvi oversees CMI’s post-war statebuilding activities which comprise of a) Regional Approaches to Statebuilding; b) Good Practice in using ICTs in Statebuilding; and c) the Governance out of a Box – initiative.

Hannu Kotipelto - Project Manager
Hannu Kotipelto works as Project Manager in the Governance out of a Box -initiative. He is responsible for managing and implementing the Liberia project of the initiative where CMI is supporting establishment of birth and death registration in Liberia with ICT-tools. He also contributes to the development of CMI's conceptual framework for post-war state building with focus aiming to strengthen the capabilities of local governance.
Minna Kukkonen - Adviser
Minna Kukkonen works as Adviser to the Executive Director of Crisis Management Initiative. She supports the Executive Director in the execution of CMI’s mission and facilitates external and internal relations. As acting Director of Operations, Minna is responsible for supporting the Executive Director in leading administration, finance and human resources management. She acts as a legal adviser in CMI’s projects and overall organizational management.
Elina Lehtinen - Communications Manager
Elina Lehtinen is in charge of strategic planning in CMI's external and internal communications. She has worked for over a decade in media and communications related posts in the USA, Middle East, UK and Finland.

Riikka Marjamäki - Director
Riikka Marjamäki is the Director of the Office of President Ahtisaari. Riikka assists Martti Ahtisaari in all his work and supports him especially in his commitments related to the European Foreign Politics and Turkey’s accession process to the EU. Riikka is also a member in the Martti Ahtisaari Rapid Reaction team and is specialized in peacebuilding in South-East Asia.
Mika Metsäniemi - Project Assistant
Mika Metsäniemi is completing his non-military service as a Project Assistant in the Post-war Statebuilding cluster. He will utilize his technological know-how to support the development of the Governance out of a Box initiative. Mika joined CMI in February 2010.

Mikheil Mirziashvili - Senior Manager
Mr. Mikheil (Misha) Mirziashvili is the Senior Manager of the Black Sea Peace Network project. The project aims at effective involvement of the civil society in the peacebuilding process through establishing self-ruling expert councils and strengthening via regional approaches local efforts for security peace in the region of the Black Sea.

Elisa Musakka - Administrative Assistant
Elisa Musakka is the Administrative Assistant at CMI's Helsinki office. Her main activities relate to office management, financial support and organizational development.

Mikko Patokallio - Project Officer
Mikko Patokallio works as a Project Officer in the Martti Ahtisaari Rapid Reaction Facility. He joined CMI in March 2009. His main fields of interests are international relations, peace studies, foreign and security policy and international organizations.

Kristiina Rintakoski - Deputy Executive Director
Kristiina Rintakoski is Director for Programmes and deputy Executive Director. She oversees the content development and fundraising of CMI’s programmatic activities. Kristiina’s areas of specialisation are European security, crisis management, state-building and use of information technology in crisis management.

Gama B. Roberts - Country Coordinator
As CMI Country Coordinator in Liberia, Mr. Gama Roberts coordinates the Governance out of a Box initiative which aims to identify tools for the effective implementation of priority functions of state administration in post-conflict countries. He coordinates and monitors all of CMI’s projects in Liberia in coordination with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from NGOs to corporations and the public sector.

Juha-Matti Seppänen - Director (Acting)
Juha-Matti Seppänen is the Acting Director of MARRF (Martti Ahtisaari Rapid Reaction Facility). He oversees CMI’s activities in the follow-up of selected country cases, especially the situation in Aceh, Indonesia and other Track Two Diplomacy activities within MARRF.
Miia Seppänen - Communications Assistant
Miia Seppänen has begun her internship in Helsinki in the Operations and Support team of the organization in January 2010. Her main task during her internship will be to coordinate the editing process of CMI's Annual Report. In addition she will assist the Executive Director in external communications and strategic planning of the organization's communication structure.
Philippe Taflinski - Project Assistant
Philippe Taflinski works as Project Assistant at CMI in the context of his internship. He joined the Brussels office in January 2010 and supports the Peace Mediation and Dialogue cluster. His particular interests include international mediation, the EU and the AU.
Tuija Talvitie - Executive Director
Tuija Talvitie is CMI’s Executive Director. She is responsible for strategic development of CMI and is in charge of all staff-, finance- and organisational matters. 
Tuula Tanskanen - Personal Assistant to President Ahtisaari
Tuula Tanskanen is the Personal Assistant to President Ahtisaari. She is responsible for calendar updates, travel arrangements and other issues directly linked to President Ahtisaari's programme.

Régis Vanrechem - Office Manager
Régis Vanrechem is the Office Manager of CMI’s Brussels office. His main duties relate to administrational, financial and contractual management.
Prior to joining CMI he has worked as Administrator and Logistics Coordinator in Niger for Save the Children, Emergency Supply and Logistics Coordinator, in Madagascar for UNICEF and as an International Purchase Specialist in Brussels.
