Comprehensive Crisis Management

CMI’s work on comprehensive crisis management aims to make crisis management and peacebuilding operations more effective, through developing tools and practices that have a system-wide impact in the capacity of operational organizations. Managing complex conflicts and crises requires a wide range of internal and external actors, including governments, civil society, the private sector and international agencies, to work together in a coherent and coordinated effort. They require effective multilateralism and a networked approach, combining in the best possible way all available civil and military instruments.
