In Palestine CMI, together with its local partner Masarat, implement a dialogue project designed to support the formal national reconciliation process. Project participants discuss, formulate and seek consensus on a variety of concrete initiatives that can facilitate and support sustainable national unity. More specific project objectives include enhancing exchange and mutual confidence among Palestinians of various backgrounds; contributing to the reconciliation discussions through the development and advocacy of concrete instruments and mechanisms, and broadening the discussion to include a wider array of stakeholders. The project is implemented during 2012-13, and is funded by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Nippon Foundation (Japan).
