Businesses excited to support CMI’s Anniversary Campaign

At the start of 2011, CMI launched a fundraising campaign, the aim of which is to broaden the organization’s funding base as part of CMI’s growth strategy. CMI wants to develop new and responsible models of cooperation with businesses. The targets of CMI’s fundraising campaign are international businesses operating in Finland, as well as a wider audience through internet donations.

CMI is celebrating its tenth anniversary, which will culminate in an international seminar on the 19th of April. A team of notable businesses is supporting CMI in the organization of this seminar. At the same time, these businesses are supporting CMI’s project activities in 2011.

Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) is a non-profit organization that produces information on as well as practical solutions to peace processes and conflict resolution. CMI has 15 projects in over 20 countries in Africa, the Middle East, the Black Sea Region, and South East Asia. In 2011, CMI celebrates its 10th anniversary. President Ahtisaari founded CMI after his term as the President of Finland and continues to act as the Chairman of the CMI Board.
